School Days

I had the privilege of spending time photographing students and teachers at a small charter school in central Massachusetts. High school is a time of transition...between the protection of parents, and the eventual freedom of college...between the simplicity of childhood, and the challenges of adulthood.

The life of a school looks safe and contained from the outside, but for the students it's their whole world. There's a little bit of magic in seeing how they navigate that world and how they grow in it.
